Our latest kitchen range features seed packets, watering cans, garden motifs and more, all designed and hand-drawn in-house. As the arrival of spring brings longer and brighter days, we start thinking about the outdoors, the garden and making spaces to enjoy during the warmer months ahead. Our Seedling Kitchen range will inspire you to get out into the garden and start some planting ready to reap the rewards in a few months time.
Our Seedling kitchen range
Celebrate the arrival of a new season with the fresh and whimsical design of our Seedling Kitchen range. Featuring intricately hand-drawn seed packets, watering cans filled with pretty plants, vegetables and garden motifs with a co-ordinating blue and white stripe. Perfect for gifting to green thumbed friends and made from durable cotton duck. The range includes an apron, a tea towel set of 3, single and double oven gloves and a dish cover set of 4.
Behind the design
The unique designs for our collections are created by our talented in-house textile designers. This clever team produce the most beautiful prints, patterns and designs that our customers love and cherish. The designs for our Seedling Kitchen range were created by Zoe, one of our Senior Textile Designers.
"Inspired by spring planting, we wanted to create a whimsical pattern of seed packets. We chose a uniform layout with the seed packets arranged neatly in rows, a bit like spring planting! We complemented this with garden motifs and watering cans planted with flowers. We chose a soft spring palette and used classic duck egg as the base. I hand-drew the designs which were then printed onto fabric to create our beautiful Seedling kitchen pieces." - Zoe, Senior Textile Designer.
Prep for spring planting
Whether it's an established vege bed, some large pots, raised planters or a blank canvas, it's the perfect time to prep your soil for planting. After the chilly months of winter, soil can always use a good dose of compost, sheep pellets or seaweed to wake up and revitalise the nutrients ready for planting. If you like to use seeds to grow vegetables, fill potting trays with seed mix, plant your chosen seeds and keep them somewhere warm so they germinate ready for planting into your garden in the coming weeks. Wear a Seedling Kitchen Apron while pottering around in the garden.
