DISCOVER SPRING ‘23

Michelle’s top picks from our spring ’23 collection

I have a few favourite bed linen pieces from our spring collection. The first is our beautiful Floriana organic cotton duvet cover set. I do love florals for spring and the great thing about this design is the complex colour palette used in the painterly florals. This offers the opportunity to easily style coordinating colours with the duvet cover set for a considered and layered look. From our spring collection, I would add a Loft Linen willow fitted sheet and extra standard pillowcases plus mix in the gorgeous gingham check of our Arrowtown bedding with two European pillowcases.

Tips to introduce colour for spring

After a dreary winter, the lighter and longer days create a feeling of optimism. Lighten your bedroom with fresh bed linen to mark the change of season. Banish the darker moody hues to the linen cupboard until next autumn and introduce light and colour for spring and summer. Swap out winter duvet covers for new bedding in a crisp white, a soft sage green or summery stripes. Add accent cushions in a similar palette for a restful space or try pops of bolder colour, pattern and texture for a more vibrant feel. Style extra European pillows in a coordinating pattern on your bed to lean against while enjoying a morning coffee. Update your home fragrance with new scented candles or diffusers and style coloured throws such as our new Tussock Throw on the bed for while the evenings are still cool. Celebrate the arrival spring and treat yourself to freshly cut flowers for the finishing touch.

Styling relaxed living spaces for spring

The designs in our collections are always inspired by the beauty of nature. Create welcoming spaces to come home to with comfy cushions and soft throws in colours and patterns designed to make every day more beautiful (and comfortable). Our spring cushion covers feature elements from nature and the colours are designed to mix and match, perfect for fresh spring style on your sofa. Choose from the soft naturals and hand-painted designs of our Arbor and Sweet Bee cushion covers, the coastal inspired stripes of our Dune range, the chunky knitted texture and bolder colour of our Dorset cushions or the pretty pattern of our Floriana design.

Add extra texture and colour with a soft throw or two – stylish and practical, throws will elevate your living spaces offering a relaxed and inviting feel. Our Dorset Cable Knit Cotton Throws come in a range of beautiful and versatile colours of forest green, evening blue and natural.

Michelle’s spring style at home

For spring I’ll be layering my bed with soft Loft Linen sheeting and duvet covers in exquisite sage ‘willow’ and ‘natural’ to capture the essence of the season. I’ll add to the ambience by styling a touch of coastal charm with a textured Dune cushion featuring classic white stripes on a soft natural base. This combination of soothing colours and tactile textures are winners for me. I will most definitely be adding some gorgeous indoor plants to compliment my bedding and to evoke a sense of renewal and relaxation.
