Happy Mother’s Day

On Wednesday the 27th of April, we hosted a breakfast to celebrate our community of women in the spirit of Mother’s Day. This day has always been close to our hearts as our family-based business is run by by a team of young mums, fathers of daughters, mums to be, loving daughters and mother hens. We look forward to Mother’s Day every year as a day to celebrate our amazing women, and take the opportunity to treat each other and ourselves. Read on to discover more about our morning of indulgence.

We Love Sleep

In our (expert) opinion, there is no gift more treasured by mums everywhere, than a good nights’ sleep. Upon arrival, our guests were gifted a new set of pyjamas from our autumn collection. Designed with love, our sleepwear collections are crafted from natural fibres and are beautiful to wear for slow starts, relaxing at home and sleeping in comfort. Our Penelope and Jolie collections are made from plant-based modal, which some attendees described as ‘buttery soft’ – and we agree.

Event Details

We welcomed our guests to the wonderful Ada restaurant, located within the Convent Hotel. If you’ve never visited Ada before – we can highly recommend it! We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast together and here’s a little inspiration for your Mother’s Day breakfast – we dined on Daily Bread pastries (the almond croissant was a highlight), mimosas and more. We encouraged our guests to pop on their complimentary PJ shirts to match our Wallace Cotton team in comfort and style. Then the florists from Blush Flowers led our guests through a floral workshop in which they designed their own beautiful bouquet of flowers to take home. We’re humbled by the positive feedback from our guests, and feel lucky that we were able to treat these wonderful women to a delightful morning of indulgence.

How We’re Spending Mother’s Day

Now that Mother’s Day is here, we plan on making it a day all about us and our favourite women. We’re spending the morning staying in our beautifully soft PJs for as long as possible. Take inspiration from Zeenat and enjoy your morning cuppa adorned in the sweet pink stripes of Penelope sleepwear. And as we get to choose today’s breakfast, we are looking forward to a freshly baked croissant and hot coffee served to us in the comfort of bed. However, or whoever you celebrate today, we hope you indulge in some of life’s simple pleasures.
