Care instructions for washing towels

Pre-soak new towels in cold water for a few hours before washing to help activate the absorbency.
Cold machine wash with mild laundry powder or liquid.
Wash colours separately.
Line dry until slightly damp then warm tumble dry – tumble drying will help control excess lint.
Avoid washing with bleaches, enzyme detergents or fabric softeners. Bleach can weaken fabric. Fabric softener contains silicon which creates a waterproof coating on textiles.
