A handy hint for caring for your towels before you use them, soak them in a tub/bucket of cold water for a minimum of 24 hours, this swells the cotton fibres and increases absorbency, then throw them in the washing machine with a tablespoon of detergent (because they are not dirty). Once this is completed put them in the dryer on a reduced spin to get rid of any excess lint.
Your towels will come up absolutely beautiful, they will be rich and creamy and super absorbent.
